“Our success begins with empowering employees in an environment that prioritizes wellbeing,” said Trevor Longley, President of Nissan Canada Inc. “Our commitment to ensuring every employee feels respected and included has allowed us to build a workplace that thrives on trust, collaboration, and mutual respect.”

In 2024, main employee feedback showcased that Nissan Canada fostered a secure environment where everyone is treated fairly, regardless of how they identify, and new hires are warmly welcomed. Management’s honesty and ethical practices in all business dealings were also highlighted, while employee experience was the highest ranked statement.

Since its first Great Place to Work® certification, Nissan Canada has leveraged survey insights to further promote employee engagement. Each year, the One Team Culture taskforce reviews feedback and prioritizes initiatives that enhance collaboration, promote a sense of belonging, and expand opportunities for employee recognition. These efforts have contributed to a workplace where employees can thrive and grow, reinforcing Nissan Canada’s position as an attractive Canadian employer.
